Introduction to Synthetic Dyes

Our June workshop was led by Debbie Tomkies and her husband Pete, who spent most of the day slaving over a hot microwave! First of all we experimented with the different saturation levels different concentrations of one colour give.

Next, we tried varying the ratios of two contrasting colours.

Finally, we got to play with different techniques on a skein of yarn. Here are some of the results.
