Durham Guild members enjoying the hospitality of our neighbouring Guild, Tynedale at their annual Spinners' Gathering today. As always a wonderful opportunity to meet up with friends old & new. We were especially delighted to meet up with Brian Shaw, who is a very long-standing friend of Durham Guild and the first man to gain a Certificate of Achievement for Spinning from the AGWSD when they were introduced in the early 1990's. His skills are legendary and the video of him teaching long draw spinning in 2017 is positively mesmerising!
