Tubular Cord Weaving Workshop

In the Durham Guild of Spinners, Weavers & Dyers, we are fortunate in having some highly skilled and internationally acclaimed craftspeople among our membership. For our July meeting, Susan Foulkes, author of "Weaving Patterned Bands", led a workshop for us on weaving tubular cords using both an inkle loom and a weaving disc. Sue's skill as both a weaver and a teacher, meant that everyone who took part, even the complete beginners, went away with a beautiful length of cord and a new-found love of weaving. Thank you Sue!
